Capturing Elegance: A Timeless Boudoir Experience with Suffolk Boudoir

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of working with a lovely young lady named Karolina at Suffolk Boudoir, nestled in the heart of Bentwaters, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Our goal for this shoot was to create beautiful, sympathetic, subtle, and delicate imagery, showcasing the elegance of light and shadow in a classical portrait setting.

And let me tell you, Karolina was an absolute dream to work with! Her radiance and beauty shone through in every single photograph, making the entire experience truly memorable. As a professional boudoir photographer, it’s always a delight to collaborate with models who bring such incredible energy and poise to the studio.

Now, what made this particular shoot even more exciting was the chance to work with medium format film, courtesy of our friend Jaga. Believe it or not, it’s been a whopping 25 years since I last shot on film, having made the switch to digital long ago. To say I’m eager to see the developed film in a couple of weeks would be a colossal understatement!

Speaking of Jaga, she was not only instrumental in providing the medium format film, but she also served as Karolina’s chaperone during the shoot. Having a chaperone present during a boudoir photography session is something I always encourage, as it keeps the atmosphere buzzing with energy and excitement. With the three of us in the studio, there was never a dull moment!

In addition to Jaga’s contribution, we were also fortunate enough to collaborate with Jasmine, the talented florist behind Fleur Girl, who is local to Rendlesham. Jasmine’s exquisite dried flowers added an extra element of sophistication and grace to the shoot, elevating the overall aesthetic to new heights.

As I look back on this incredible experience, I can’t help but feel excited about the prospect of working with Karolina again in the future. I’m also on tenterhooks, eagerly anticipating the moment when I’ll finally be able to lay my eyes on the developed film.
